If you are thinking of moving to Spain, you are by no means on your own. Many Britons go to Spain for holidays and love the sunny climate, the relaxed way of life, and the fact that it is far less expensive to live there than in the UK, and decide that one day, when they retire, they will up sticks, and live there permanently. Others simply decide to go to Spain anyway and find a job when they get there.
Many of us in the UK have been to France for a holiday, and some go there every year for a couple of weeks. It is a big country and has huge amounts of coastline, busy cities, vast rural areas, mountains, beaches, vineyards, and a great variety of different weather from the wintertime in the Alps to the constantly sunny Mediterranean coast. No wonder that quite a number of Britons decide at some point in their lives that they would love to go and live there.
Moving home is considered to be one of the most stressful things that we ever do, and it is not surprising. This is even more the case when you have perhaps lived in your present home for many years. It is said that the average person moves every seven years, but for some people it can be much longer than that.
If you are moving overseas, you are no longer one of the small percentage of the population. Nowadays many people move overseas for different reasons. If you are planning to move, there are a lot of things to think about and to take into consideration.
