People move abroad from the UK for all sorts of reasons. Spain and Portugal are two very big attractions for expats, and there are a lot of them in both countries. This is perfect when you need to move home and your new home in Spain is not ready to move into, because we can store all your belongings in one of our depots for a few days, or a few weeks, until the time comes. 

 

Alternatively, another option is for us to store your belongings here at our depot in Preston. We have safe and secure storage here, and not only that, but the storage is free for the first four weeks, which is usually enough time for most people. From here, we can then ship your goods wherever you are going, whether that is to Spain or Portugal or much further. Quite a lot of people move to the Caribbean, while others go the whole distance and move to Australia or New Zealand. 

 

This may be because they have family there, or it could be for work reasons. Quite a number of people need us as international removers because they are sent to another country by their company to operate a branch abroad. Sometimes this is a permanent move, while at others it may be for two or three years while they set up a new branch office or whatever else the company needs. 

 

 

 

This is often a good move for many people because in many instances the company will offer them a good increase in salary to undertake the work, and often the country to which they are going will have a less expensive cost of living than we do in the UK. So, it is a great opportunity to live and work abroad and at the same time put a chunk of money away into savings. 

 

Our friendly team of movers and packers can pack all of your belongings so that they travel safely to wherever you are going. We always advise customers to let us do the packing because our team is trained to do it the right way, and when you are going a long distance that is most important. However, if you want to pack yourself that is always an option. 

 

We can move small loads as a shared load or groupage service, or if you need more space, you can have a 20’ or 40’ container to yourself. That can include taking your car with you if you wish, although if you are moving to a country where they drive on the other side of the road you would probably be better off getting a left-hand drive car when you get there.
