Of course, wherever you are moving to, you can always pack your belongings yourself, but unless you have experience, we would suggest leaving the packing to our specialists. This is because our team knows exactly how to pack different items so that they are perfectly safe in transit to your new home. Delicate items need to be bubble wrapped, and everything is then placed into reinforced cardboard boxes. This is done with regard to the size, weight, and shape of the items so that they are perfectly secure during the journey. 

 

All of our team are trained through the British Association of Removers Training Services, so they have the skills required for all removals in Lancashire. We can handle all those heavy and awkward items, including your concert grand piano if you have one. 

 

One thing that is important right now is to book your removal as soon as you can. This is because of the pandemic which has caused many people to put their planned removal on hold for months, but now that things are becoming easier it means that, along with other removal companies, we are getting booked up a long way in advance. We will do whatever we can to accommodate you, but the sooner you book, the better chance you have of moving on your required date. 

 

Of course, there is nothing to stop you from packing yourself if that is what you want to do. If so, you need to ensure that you use boxes that are strong enough to do the job. The ones that are used to deliver your groceries are not usually up to it. If you want to do your own packing, we can supply you with all the materials that you need, and which are the same as we use ourselves. 

 

When you are packing you can use your own towels, blankets, and so on to wrap items in. This means that you will save space and as a result save money. Be sure that you don’t make individual boxes too heavy to lift because if you have trouble lifting them so will everyone else! Our guys are pretty strong, but nonetheless they are not King Kong. 

 

It may be the case that you are moving, but your new home is not ready to move into immediately. This can be for any number of reasons, but the good news is that we can store your goods for you here at our depot in Preston in our storage units, which are large wooden containers that will keep your goods dry and free from the attention of rodents. Storage is also free for the first four weeks. 

 

You may also be buying some new furniture, and if this is the case you can have it delivered to us and we will store that as well. The last thing that you need to worry about when moving home is where to store everything if you have to stay in temporary accommodation during your move, so let us take that worry off your mind.
