People who live in the UK love nothing more than taking their two weeks summer holiday, getting on a plane, and flying off to somewhere where the sun always shines. This is true wherever you live, even in the Southeast where it is sunnier than in other parts of the country. But for those in the North, or in Scotland, being able to sit on a beach for two weeks doing pretty much nothing certainly has its’ attractions.
Of course, for this reason, many people go to Spain or Portugal, where in the South, the sun shines for 320 days a year. Not only that, but the way of life is relaxed and laid back, there is great food and wine, and the overall cost of living is very reasonable compared with the UK.
It is hardly surprising then that when they get to retirement age, a lot of Britons decide to move to Spain and live out their days in the sunshine. Moving away from friends and family in the UK can be a bit of a wrench, but then again, Spain is only a couple of hours away, so you can always pop back for a visit. In fact, it is rather like those holidays in reverse. A couple of weeks in the UK, and the rest of the time in the sun. Lovely!
Lots Of Things To Do
Of course, if you have decided to do this, there are a lot of things to get done, not least of which is to choose a Spain removals company. There are a number of removal companies to Spain, but arguably, at Movers International, we are the best. This is because we have been a Spain removals company for over 30 years.
Indeed, we go there so often and move so many families out there that we even have two depots in Southern Spain of our own. These are in Alicante and Malaga. But whichever part of the country you are going to, we will get you there, including those hard-to-reach little villages in up in the hills. As one of the top removal companies to Spain, we have been to just about everywhere in the country.
We also have a regular run to Spain every week, so if you only have a small number of items to move – or even just one – they can go as a part load, which will save you money.
